You want a police report and then you want someone to look over the bike verrrry carefully. Get the name of the officer that you give the report to. Follow-up and don't be lazy about it. Some knuckelhead knocked mine over years ago.... didn't look like much.... but the handlebars bent JUST ENOUGH FOR ME TO notice on long ride.... "Didn't hear anything enough for me to notice it." yeah right he didn't notice the nice big bright red paint all over his bumper. You think there is no damage.... I'll bet there is more than you see. There was on mine. My spidey senses were tingling..just enough so the guy in a gray\silver Chrysler Sebring...license plate YFV-5523 backed into my bike.
